On 20 January 2026, a follow-up meeting for the FAUSTO project was held at the premises of EKIN, S. COOP. This meeting brought together the project partners with the aim of coordinating technical progress, reviewing the status of the various lines of work and defining the next development milestones.
The main objective of the FAUSTO (Autonomous, Sustainable and Safe Factory through Deep Technologies) project is to develop an autonomous, competitive, safe and sustainable factory through the advanced application of Artificial Intelligence (AI). In particular, the project focuses on the use of Deep Learning implemented through Edge Computing, enabling more efficient, robust and real-time decision-making within the industrial environment.
FAUSTO is part of the collaborative projects co-financed by the Centre for Industrial Technological Development, forming part of the TransMisiones 2024 initiative of the Centre for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI). This initiative promotes cooperation between companies and knowledge centres to address strategic challenges in industry through high-impact technologies.
The meeting held at EKIN, S. COOP. reinforces the partners’ commitment to technological innovation, industrial digitalisation and the development of advanced solutions that contribute to a more sustainable, safer and more competitive industry.
