The main objective of the FAUSTO project is to promote the development of an autonomous factory that is competitive, safe and sustainable. To achieve this, it explores the possibilities of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in its most advanced form: Deep Learning (DL), implemented through Edge Computing.
The project has the clear ambition to achieve the greatest possible impact in terms of efficiency and sustainability through innovation in driving secure IoT and edge computing, as well as deep technologies of a cross-cutting nature linked to move towards the autonomous factory.
The project started in January 2025 and will end in December 2027, with a total budget of €5,675,121.
