Commitment to society

The people that form Ekin have a commitment to society that becomes real in the contribution of time, money and involvement in social projects. We get involved with society by assuming causes that we can improve from the implication both at an organizational and personal level.

Donating blood is to donate life. In ekin we have been giving life for over 45 years. Collaborating with Osakidetza and the Blood Donor Association of Bizkaia, we try to help people who need it. In gratitude for the work done, the Basque Human Transfusion and Tissue Center of Osakidetza, together with the ADSB, issued us a certificate.

In sports as expensive as cycling, where public revenues are not enough to guarantee the survival of teams, the sponsorship of surrounding companies is essential. For this reason, in ekin, we sponsor the home team of the Amorebieta Cycling Society, supporting young talent and promoting training in the values of sports, such as teamwork.
